Abyssal Recovery

Abyssal Recovery, a tool offered for free by AbyssalSoft, can be used to recover deleted files. Say you have some pictures on a USB stick and you accidentally delete them. Scan the stick, select the pictures you want to restore, and Abyssal Recovery will quickly restore them for you.

Go through these steps to get Abyssal Recovery up and running on your PC: download an archive, extract and run the executable inside the archive, follow the instructions presented by a setup wizard. In just a few clicks you will be done with the installation process.

All your drives are presented in the upper left hand side of the application’s interface. Select a drive, scan it, and all recoverable files will be presented as a list on the interface’s main panel. Check the files you want to recover and click the Restore button in the lower right hand side to recover them.

As you can tell from my brief description of the interface, there is nothing complicated about using Abyssal Recovery. First up, you must select one of your drives. Then you must launch a scan and wait for it to complete. Go over the scan results, pick the files you want to recover, and select the location where you want to save them. Data can be recovered from NTFS and FAT drives, from hard drives, flash drives, or SD cards.

The ease of use – that is the most appealing part. With Abyssal Recovery you can very easily uncover deleted files and you can very easily restore them.
